At P.A.W.S. Pet Hospital, we are happy to provide emergency veterinary care to patients with urgent needs according to our availability. We urge true emergencies (see red column below) to seek help from a 24-hour emergency clinic immediately. If your animal companion is having an emergency, we request that you contact us ahead of time at (651) 400-1180 to check our availability, so we can schedule you appropriately or prepare for your arrival.
If you are unsure if your pet is having an emergent medical need, please call during our office hours (M-F 7:30am-5:30pm) so we can direct you to an emergency clinic or schedule an appointment with us. If the emergency is occurring after regular business hours, please call a 24-hour facility of your choice to be triaged.
We have also included the Pet Poison Helpline in case your pet has consumed a poisonous or potentially poisonous substance.
