Pet Chiropractic Care
For pets recovering from surgery or experiencing neck and/or joint pains, sports injuries, or muscle spasms, we’re pleased to offer non-invasive treatments to ease your pet’s discomfort and advance their recovery. Our pet chiropractic services in Hugo allow us to treat a multitude of internal and musculoskeletal problems without the need for surgery. Chiropractic care focuses on the spine, and how it affects your pet’s overall nervous system. This therapy can be used in conjunction with your pet’s primary veterinary care to improve and maintain their health.
What Conditions Can Benefit from Our Pet Chiropractic Service?
Our pet chiropractor can manipulate and adjust your pet’s joints with their hands or with the aid of special instruments. Chiropractic care has many uses, though it’s often best utilized as an additional diagnostic procedure or in conjunction with other treatments. Conditions that can be improved with our pet chiropractic service include:
- Pain in the neck/back
- Post-surgical trauma
- Sporting injuries
- Bowel disorders
- Muscle spasms
- Cruciate ligament issues
Signs Your Pet May Need Chiropractic Care
Your pet may not be able to tell you when they’re in pain, but there are signs you can look out for in case you’re not sure. These include:
- Altered gait
- Reduced activity
- Inability to climb stairs
- Difficulty bending or flexing neck/back
Our Referral Chiropractor
We’re pleased to have a certified chiropractor to whom we can refer our patients for chiropractic treatments. Dr. Eian obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Chiropractic Acupuncture degrees from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN, and is registered with the MN Board of Chiropractic. Dr. Eian completed her training at Options for Animals School of Animal Chiropractic in Wellsville, KS, and attended Options for Animals School of Animal Chiropractic for Practical Rehabilitation Techniques for the Animal Chiropractic Patient.
Could Our Chiropractic Services Benefit Your Pet?
If you wish to know more about our pet chiropractic services here in Hugo, let us know at (651) 400-1180. We’d love to sit down with you and discuss your pet’s options. The efficacy of these procedures depends entirely on your pet’s response to treatment, and other treatments (laser therapy, medication, etc.) may need to be utilized as well. Keep in mind that chiropractic care should never serve as a replacement for primary veterinary care–your primary veterinarian needs to refer your pet before they can receive any chiropractic services.
