Puppy Training
Your puppy’s unruly behavior might seem cute and harmless now. Yet, as they grow, they may become destructive and difficult to live with. Here at P.A.W.S. - Chewing up furniture
- Aggression
- Urinating/defecating in the house
- Barking/vocalizing
- Nipping/biting
- Digging
- Jumping on visitors
- Begging
- Leash pulling
Addressing Your Puppy’s Behavior:
There are several puppy training facilities around Hugo that we’re happy to recommend. First, though, we’ll conduct a behavior consultation. Every behavior consultation begins with a discussion about your pet’s lifestyle. This includes their home environment, socialization, relationship with you and your family members, eating and drinking habits, etc. Then, your veterinarian performs a thorough physical exam to ensure the cause of your puppy’s behavior isn’t a medical issue. Once we rule out medical and lifestyle factors, we will turn to puppy training as a viable option for correcting your puppy’s unwanted behaviors.
